So it has become a fact to me that the projectile formulas are NOT ON the formula sheet..
WHAT?!
I do not think that I will be able to remember them all! Why are they not given to us, Mr Rozitis?

Kinematics .. sounds like mathematics!
So now that I've finished learning about the kinematics unit, I must say that the hand in activities are quite tricky! I think that the lab is fine, but I haven't quite finished that entirely yet.
This summer is too short to finish a whole course! I discovered that there is now exactly one week left to prepare for the first midterm that includes units 1-5, but I've only started on Unit 3 today! Oh boy.
I really hope that our midterm doesn't include so many tough questions like in the hand in assignments. I found that the self-marking assignments are fairly reasonable to be tested on. It's just hard because I know that I won't be able to hand in all of my assignments before the midterm, and if we're being tested on the same material, I might not do so well because I haven't had feedback on how I am doing and what I need to focus on.
*huge sigh*

Midway through kinematics..
I got very confused at one point...
After doing the active reading section for 2.2 Motion with a constant velocity, I was wondering how we could be doing questions from page 72 and 74-75, since the active reading only covered pages 42-53. I realized later that there must have been a mistake!
I think that these self-marking activities should be under the section 2.3 Velocity vs. Time graphs instead:

After finishing the first unit
The first unit wasn't all that bad afterall. Sig figs were a breeze, particularly because I had learned them already and practiced them throughout the Chemistry 11 course. I don't think that I really had trouble with anything this unit because it was really review from what I had already knew.
At the start of the course...
the whole realm of online physics seemed daunting. At the click of the contents page, the long list of units seemed overwhelming.
I hated the feeling that school is back, after only a short period of time. I wanted to get this over and done with as soon as I can.
I guess there are many positive things to look forward to:
1.) For one thing, there are no deadlines! (I don't really think of August 8th as a deadline, particularly because I will have finished everything before that day. I'm definitely not the type of person to still be doing homework a day before a final exam. I like to have a couple days to spread out the study load)
2.) Many possibilities to gain bonus marks! (This blog & active reading!) I think the active reading logs are excellent because I can get bonus marks, while doing the notes that I need to study for the final exam. Absolutely excellent!
3.) Cool Elluminate meetings! After yesterday night's first meeting, everything was a little more clarified. Especially how our marks will be done and how to do our hand in assignments (by hand/Word document, etc).
4.) Short period of time. One thing that I enjoy about summer school is that we are able to learn everything in a condensed learning period. Ultimately, for me, that means I will be able to remember more for the final exam!
These are the things I must surpass or else allow them to lead to my downfall:
1.) Having to do this course along with another online course
2.) Long textbook readings!
3.) Having to catch myself up with the discussion wall. Sometimes, very important information is posted in the discussion wall, but I fail to read them immediately because many people work a lot more frequently and faster than I do. If very important information regarding the course or how to specifically do a lab is given, it should be given to us as part of the curriculum. For instance, the first lab instructed us to provide a copy of the graph that is given, but the instructor wrote in discussion that he wanted us to do this in Excel. I think that if we had to do this in Excel, we should be told that in the lab instructions.
